Fritzpatricks Irish Pub was opened by Tova and Patrick Hunt in the Summer of 1996.

Situated in the trendy suburb of Essen-Rüttenscheid the pub is 3 km from the city centre ‎and close to the Essen Messe (exhibition hall)‎. Much loved by locals, expats, and students alike, Fritzpatricks lively atmosphere caters for everyone. Fritzpatricks has seating for 400 inside as well as a 250 seater beer garden. Inside the pub there are 3 different areas, a relaxed Library room, the main bar area, and the the party room where live music and karaoke are held every weekend.
